Jazz dinner takes place in an exceptional and historical place in the center of Prague.

Mánes was built in 1930 by the Association of Fine Artists Mánes and renovated to its original form during years 2012-2014.

The heart of the building as the exhibition hall. It is designed to house world-class artsworks exhibitions. In its central part the hall spreads up to the 2nd floor and is lit up by a glass steel gabled roof. In the lower floor there are two multifunctional rooms for screenings, lectures, workshops, auctions, smaller exhibitions, etc. The original restaurant with a terrace and Emil Filla´s ceiling frescoes has been restored. In the café area you´ll find a renovated Steinway grand piano from 1897. Comfortable office spaces are on the 1st floor while a shop offering fine arts and design is established in the gallery.

Mánes comes to life again and art and music return here – the restored Steinway grand piano, played by Jaroslav Ježek, sounds throughout the restaurant during Jazz Dinner evenings along with the best Prague jazzmen.

Mánes, together with the Štítkov Water Tower, is registered in the Central list of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic and protected as an immovable heritage.
